About Jake

I was born and raised right here in Satsuma. Growing up playing football and baseball on those fields at Lions Park, I was coached by some incredible men who poured their time and heart into this city. Also, I attended Lee Elementary and graduated from Satsuma High in 2004.

I’ve been married to my better half, Jessica, for 11 years, and we have three beautiful daughters (19, 10, and 9) who keep us on our toes and give us even more reason to care deeply about this community.

Over the years, I’ve served with Howard E. Blackwell Lodge for 15 years, working through leadership positions and now serving as Secretary. I’ve learned what it means to run an organization built on rules, respect, and showing up for its members. Through that service, and through coordinating charitable fundraisers, I’ve seen firsthand how much a little support can do for our community.

Since 2022, I’ve also served on the board of directors for the North Mobile County Soccer Club, where I’ve worn a few hats: Assistant Director of Coaching, Director of Player Development, and Secretary. It’s been a great reminder that leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about building something that will be around for the next generation to be proud of.

I’ve followed our local government for years, and I believe it’s time to step forward. I want to help lead us in a direction where we preserve what makes Satsuma special but also make progress together.

One of my old football coaches always said, “Keep your feet moving.” That’s stuck with me my whole life, and it’s how I try to lead, with momentum, with purpose, and with heart.

I’m proud of where I’m from, and I’d be honored to represent the city that raised me.
